"Just Do Good" Compton Work Day!
On October 21 (Yes, the same day we're hosting a beach cleanup with Heal the Bay!), we're joining forces with the Aga Khan Foundation in volunteering with Just Do Good for their Compton Workday! Be part of thousands of volunteers who will engage in hands-on service projects (i.e.: building gardens, benches, tables, landscaping, painting and murals) to enhance nonprofits, medical clinics, public schools and much more!
Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Just Do Good will provide a light breakfast. We will provide AKF Service t-shirts. This can be a great opportunity to gain service hours! All ages welcome (those under 18 require a parent/guardian consent form).
