Sunday Assembly: Let's Talk About the Moon!

Join us Sunday, April 10th, when we will be back on the beautiful USC campus! Let’s talk about the moon! Why do we have one? How does it compare to other moons in our solar system? Does it really have a “dark side?" Katie McKissick, author of Beatrice the Biologist and former science writer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will dispel a few moon myths and give you new reasons to appreciate our nearby space rock.
We will have great music and childcare will be available! We will also venture to brunch afterward at Greenleaf.
We will also be simultaneously hosting this event via zoom (link below) for those not comfortable with venturing out amongst the general public. Make sure you reserve your spot.
Sunday Assembly Gathering at USC
If attending in person, USC requires medical grade masks: surgical, KN95 or N95 masks. We have a few extra. And proof of your full vaccination and booster shot.
We will feature live music and the community you've come to know and love. We will also hopefully be simultaneously hosting this event via zoom, for those not comfortable with venturing out amongst the general public. Make sure you reserve your spot. Childcare will also be available.

There is ample parking at Trader Joe's and Target, with up to 2 hour validation, and most street parking is free on Sunday, just be sure to check the signs.
