Clothing Sort with Big Sunday

MLK Day with Big Sunday

SALA is joining the compassionate people at Big Sunday on MLK day to help sort, count, fold and pack donated clothing to prepare them for nonprofit recipients. Meet us out front just before 10, look for the SALA shirts (and wear yours if you've got one!), and we'll get to work. This is a kid-friendly service event! Please be sure to connect with us via text if you're running late or having any trouble finding us.

There will also be arts & craft projects throughout the morning, entertainment from the Blue Breeze Band, and breakfast! We'll have the chance to make friends during Big Sunday’s Something in Common Project! Everyone is invited to meet someone new, find out what it is you have in common, and have your picture taken together.

All ages welcome!

"In these divisive times, we’re especially looking forward to MLK Day this year. We can’t think of a better occasion for people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs to be working together for a common cause. We like to think it’s what Dr. King worked so hard for." - Big Sunday

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is 'What are you doing for others?'" - Martin Luther King, Jr.
