Let's Make! - Costumes

It’s almost Halloween, let's get together to learn some new skills, inspire each other and get down to the nitty-gritty of just making a costume already! Bring your works-in-progress, your materials and tools or just your ideas. No skill necessary--everyone will be able to make something cool. I have plenty of material and tools to share, but if you want to bring your own- please do!

This is a recurring series of events leading up to Halloween. You are also welcome to work on a costume for any other reason: Cosplay conventions, Labyrinth Ball, etc. I've alternated Fridays and Saturdays to hopefully allow people with regular commitments to make at least some of the events. Each event will have a theme, but you are welcome to ignore it and work on whatever you want! We will watch a short video and I'll show what I have to work with. That shouldn't take more than 30 minutes, and then we can get to work.

Tue Oct 29th 8:30pm – Finishing touches: Get 'er done!

* I'm also looking for someone to share their skills at these events. I'm an enthusiastic amateur at various crafting and engineering tasks, but I'd love to have someone with expertise show us how to properly setup and use a sewing machine, for example. And if you have some other skill or topic you'd like to share, please let me know.
