Giving: 'Tis the Season
Join us this Sunday for Assembly at 11am when City of Hope's Maria Cuevas educates us on the life saving matter that is bone marrow. City of Hope has been treating HIV/AIDS and cancer patients since 1913. Afterwards, we, in conjunction with City of Hope, would like to extend to you the opportunity to join the national Be the Match Bone Marrow Donor Registry. That will be set up at our brunch spot, Spoonfed. We can all make a difference!
We will get started at 11:00 we'll get started with a great talk, live music and secular celebration. Stick around afterward for coffee and, if you'd like, lunch in the neighborhood. Sunday Assembly is free of charge, and donations are gratefully accepted. This month, in the same spirit of giving, we will also be collecting donations for our annual Giving Tree! The list of needed items for these families that we've adopted can be found here: Giving Tree Wishlist
Everyone is welcome. Free childcare provided.
Sunday Assembly is a volunteer-driven non-profit entirely funded by attendee donations. If you'd like to see SALA continue to develop positive secular community, please consider becoming a sustaining member: sundayassemblyla.org/monthly
